Swiss Leaf Farms Ltd. is family operated by David and Alyssa Pfaeffli.  Born and raised in rural Alberta, farming has always been a large part of our lives and we are proud to keep our agricultural roots planted in the community we grew up in and love.

We utilize patented modular containerized growing technology developed by CubicFarm Systems Corp. to grow leafy greens using less water, electricity, labour and without pesticides, 365 days a year. Swiss Leaf Farms Ltd. currently maintains a 14-module CubicFarm System to grow a variety of lettuce and microgreens. The CubicFarm System optimizes the growing conditions by controlling the light, water, and nutrients the crops receive, regardless of the weather outside. This unique commercial scale technology uses 95% less water and significantly reduces the percentage of land used in traditional field farming.  

Swiss Leaf Farms is committed to growing the freshest, cleanest produce to provide a localized food supply solution that benefits people, the planet, and the economy.

Our produce can be found in Sobeys and Safeway stores across Western Canada, as well as Freson Bros. stores throughout Alberta, and Blush Lane Organic Market in Edmonton. It is also sold for food service distribution through Sysco and Fresh Forward.
